itD is seeking a Data Engineer IV to build and scale high-performance data infrastructure that powers advanced marketing science and advertising insights. This role is critical in enabling real-time data processing and delivering actionable insights that optimize advertising performance across large-scale ecosystems. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data engineering and a proven track record of delivering scalable data pipelines and high-quality data solutions that support millions of users and business-critical decisions.
Location: US Remote (all time zones supported)
Duration: 8months

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize real-time data pipelines from existing data sources to support marketing and analytics use cases
- Design and structure large-scale datasets to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
- Build and maintain data tables that support multiple marketing signals across millions of users and advertisers
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to productionize data signals and incorporate feedback quickly
- Serve as a subject matter expert for data engineering within marketing science initiatives
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and minimal errors across pipelines and datasets
- Drive improvements in data processing efficiency and system performance
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
- Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience working with large-scale datasets (millions of rows)
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data structuring, and performance optimization
- Experience developing real-time or near real-time data processing systems
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with customer lifecycle management or CRM data
- Background in marketing data, advertising analytics, or marketing science
- Experience working in large-scale tech environments
- Familiarity with building data tables for campaign or performance tracking
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field required
